The Eternal Godhead
We believe there is one eternal, self-existent God who is revealed in three distinct but equal persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Godhead is of one substance and power.

God the Father
We believe in God the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth, preserver of all things visible and invisible. He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, Holy and our loving Father.

God the Son – Jesus the Christ
The Son, Jesus the Christ, who is the Word of the Father existed from the beginning and is coequal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus, born to the virgin Mary, took on the form of a man while still retaining His divine nature, living a sinless life.
We believe that Jesus died for us because of our sin, reconciling us to the Father. He was buried, on the third day He rose again, He ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, and that He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead.

God the Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son. He is the helper and comforter who guides the believer in all truth. He is ever present and active in the work of convicting the believer of sin.

Holy Scriptures (Bible)
The Bible is the complete revelation and very Word of God. We believe that the Holy Scriptures, made up of the sixty-six books in the Old and New Testament, were inspired by the Holy Spirit. All Scripture is infallible and without error. The Holy Scriptures reveal the will of God concerning all things necessary to our salvation and are sufficient in authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

Sin & Salvation
Every Human being is created in God’s image and for relationship with God, but because of an act of sin (the fall of man), that relationship was broken. Everyone deserved God’s judgement and all of humanity was separated from God.
God’s answer to man’s sinful state is in the death of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ upon the Cross, whose sufferings and shed blood have atoned for man’s sin both original and actual, and that there is no other ground for salvation. When we are saved, we become a new creation, are adopted into the family of God and have the promise of eternal life.

Salvation cannot be earned through personal goodness or human effort. It is a gift that is received by repentance and faith in Christ and His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave.

Repentance
Repentance is a response to the goodness of God, which is a change of heart, mind and attitude through the prompting of the Holy Spirit. It requires awareness of personal sinfulness (conviction) and subsequent trust in the reconciling work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. This accompanies a new life sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Sanctification
Sanctification is the process of discipleship, growing in Christ-like character and holiness by the working of the Holy Spirit in a believer. This work is done in us through repentance from sin, daily surrender and obedience to His Word in relationship with God.

Water Baptism
We believe water baptism by full immersion in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, is an act of obedience and public declaration of a believer’s faith. It is for all who have repented and believed in Christ as Saviour and Lord. Water baptism is symbolic of a believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is received by faith, and in many instances may be accompanied by the gift of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This baptism gives us the desire and power to do what pleases him (sanctification) and causes us to be an effective witness for Christ.

The Church
The Church is the Body of Christ, known as His Bride, consisting of all Christians everywhere, and organised into local assemblies, called to fulfill the great commission.
Each believer, born of the Spirit, forms the body of Christ which is the Church. The Church is instructed to meet together to hear His word, praise Him, pray, to fellowship and encourage each other.

We believe that every person must be given compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behaviour or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture or the doctrines of the church. We believe that the faithful proclamation of the Scripture, including the call to repentance, does not constitute hate speech, or hateful and harassing behaviour, but is instead a fundamental part of the church’s loving mission to the world.

Communion
We believe Communion, consisting of the elements of bread and wine, is a remembrance of Jesus’ suffering, sacrifice on the Cross, burial, and resurrection. It is a confirmation of the new covenant between God and His people and a promise of Christ’s return.

Gifts
We believe in the present-day operation of the nine supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit as recorded in 1 Corinthians 12.

Marriage
Marriage was instituted by God, confirmed by Jesus, and is exclusively between a man and a woman. It is a picture of Christ and his church.
Sex is a gift from God for procreation and unity, and it is only appropriate within and designed for marriage.

Divine Healing
We believe that divine healing for the body, as with all redemptive blessings of God, has been provided for us by the atoning death and victorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ; it is received by faith in our Heavenly Father’s unfailing promises.

The Punishment of the Wicked

We believe those who willfully reject and despise the love of God, revealed by the sacrifice of His only Son upon the Cross for their salvation, will be forever separated from the Lord and from His glorious power and suffer eternal punishment.

Jesus’ Return to Earth & Millennial Reign
We believe in the physical return of the Lord Jesus Christ to gather His people unto Himself and reign on the earth for a thousand years. Having this glorious hope and earnest expectation, we purify ourselves and stand firm in the faith, so that we may be ready to meet Him when He comes.
And after being released for a time, Satan will be defeated and thrown into the lake of fire to be tormented for eternity.

The New Heavens and The New Earth
After this judgement, in keeping with His promise, we look forward to a new heaven and a new earth where His righteousness dwells. There will be a new Jerusalem, the Holy City, and the everlasting presence of God among all the redeemed.
