Statement of Commitment
to Child Safety

Living Hope Church is committed to child safety because it is integral to our vision, mission and values.

At Living Hope Church we want children to be safe, happy and empowered by supporting and respecting them as well as our staff and volunteers.

We have zero tolerance to child abuse, and all allegations and safety concerns will be treated very seriously and consistent with our policies and procedures.

We are committed to preventing child abuse, identifying risks early, and removing or reducing these risks. We have legal and moral obligations to contact authorities when we are concerned about a child’s safety.

We have comprehensive policies and procedures for recruiting and managing our people, both staff and volunteers. We are committed to regularly training and educating our staff and volunteers on child safety.

Child Safe Scheme

As a Faith-Based Organisation at Living Hope Church, it’s our responsibility to communicate, implement and equip our church congregation about the National Child Safe Standards. We have a Child Safety Communication Plan in place to ensure all volunteers, members and visitors of our church are informed of the new NSW Child Safe Scheme.
